7600 GT or X1800 GTO

I planned to get an X1900GT, but I'll just get a 7600GT or X1800GTO, then I'll get a DX10 card (GeForce 8 series most likely) around Christmas...
 
Same price or a lot different? If same, then get the gto and hope it unlocks. If the 7600gt is a lot cheaper, like $40 or so, then get that as it's shorter and takes up less power.
 
There is a connect3D X1800GTO at newegg for $175 after $20 mail in rebate, so I'll go with that. I should be able to unlock it...
GTR2 and Oblivion are gonna look awesome 😛
