I recall back in ~October that this was predicted to be a worse winter than last year here in the mid-atlantic.

Mid to upper 60s here today and tomorrow. Aww yeah, top down weather. :) I hope it stays above 40 F at least at night, my bronchitis still isn't completely gone.

76 is a decent summer temp (although a tad on the high side but still tolerable if not doing anything physical) but way too hot for winter. Been hot here too but not THAT hot though, maybe like 40F or so. Snow is melting a lot, hate when it gets like that it's just so messy. Actually rained yesterday. Rain in February, wth!

Though now the trees are all pretty because it stayed just below freezing and snowed and the snow sticked to the branches. I worked today so had no time to take pics. I'm hoping it stays like that till the weekend. Temps are suppose to stay just below freezing for next few days so might be good.

Because of climate change we don't really get the -40's much anymore. It's like 2 years in a row now that we get a really warm winter with sporadic swings and weird stuff like rain in middle of when it should be coldest.

76 is PERFECT

i am tempted to move somewhere where it will be 70-80 every day all year

I agree, that is a premium temperature range. However, no matter how hot and humid it gets here in the summer, where you just try to stay in air conditioning as much as possible, I will always grab my bike and run into the city for a fitness ride. I don't care how hot, I'll just sweat it out.

I thought similarly.

I came here to post about how I'll be digging a huge, huge hole (paid for by Mexico, I'm sure) when I'm in charge. It's where we'll store the old people while they're waiting to die. Keeps them off the streets.

Things will be better when I'm in charge.
