i really like the 1830t....a lot. great little notebook, but ill be damned, if i knew it had an ALPS pad that didnt support a middle click i probably would have looked around more. gotta use the actual buttons to do it...its a little awkward.
i still like the eee touchpad much, much better. didnt realize how much i loved the touchpad til i got this acer, but other than that i love the thing. great battery life, decent enough power, light, thin, etc.
id put a synaptics pad in it in a jiffy if i could though :-/
