My friend needed PC for medical work ( Dental )
Budget ~75K INR

Requirement

Full PC ( With mouse & Keyboard )

Proccy - Intel i7 ~3Ghz
Ram - 4Gb or Higher
NVIDIA GPU - NVIdia GTX 570 or Better
HDD - 320 Gb or Higher
Monitor Resolution - 1024 X 1024 ( Don't know what the hell is this Resolution )

Aside from admin work in front office, a dental system needs to be integrated with X ray system. The monitors used by my dentist are extremely high resolution - and are all Dell. It's all tied to a LAN.

I have built and serviced digital systems for dental offices. You are building a single computer for a dental office? Will it run practice management software? Which program? How about CT scanning devices(including X-rays)? Is the computer for a single office or is there more than one branch to the practice? Many dental systems involve a server based network to handle CT scan and patient databases, is that how this practice is set up?

Most dental offices have fairly low end workstations, like Dell Optiplex, connected by LAN to a server and digital scanning devices. There is usually no need for a top shelf computer, in fact, some offices use iPads to view CT scans.

Ronbo makes good points. My dentist is the only one in his practice. But there are two techs that have full equipment, and there are four other rooms fully equipped. The front office has two people with terminals. All dental records are kept in a server. The 6 rooms all have full equipment. So, it is a network with 8 terminals. The 6 dental rooms all have digital X Ray. For $75K, I would have it all professionally installed and maintained.
