Hi, Im getting an HP A64 Laptop and while I was configuring the system I noticed the XP-M 3000+. After some searching I found out its the same thing as the A64's other then its 32 bit only, 1.6GHz and has a 256MB cache.

Does anyone have any information about its performance? Does it surpass the "old" 2800+ XP-M as its name suggests?

It's known as the Dublin but I haven't seen a single performance review of it yet. The performance rating scheme is all over the place so I don't know if it stacks up to a Barton 3000+ or what  I surmise we will have to wait for the desktop skt754 version to hit and be tested against it's older sktA brother to know if it is indeed capable of matching a 2.1ghz 400fsb Barton despite giving up 500mhz and half the cache.
