753df Refresh Rates

I'm thinking of buying this monitor, but I'm worried because it only supports 1280x1024 at 65hz. Has anyone had experience with this monitor, and what the refresh rates are like? I know the color is supposedly very good, as with the screen surface.

I run it at 1152x864@75 and it looks fine. 1280x1024 is a little small for a 17 inch monitor in my opinion.

mine won't go higher than 60Hz at 1280x1024, and even at 1152 the 75Hz refresh hurts my eyes after about 20 minutes.

what is the quality like then at 1024? I'm probably not going to be doing much gaming over 1024 beacuse The system would only have a fairly cheap video card. The refresh rate and qaulity are going to be a selling point, so I need input.

I have the 753df and I find only 1024 looks ok. The other resolutions all look strange, even after trying to adjust them.
