7500 3dmark score with a 8800GT 512?

Hello everyone. I just bought my 8800GT normal version, and I tested it out on 3DMARK06 and here's the break down

SM2.0 Score - 3280
SM 3.0 Score - 4122
CPU Score - 1487

CPU = 6320 Duo Core

so just curious if these scores are normal because most people i've seen score ~10,000 in 3DMARK06. Now I know you can't play 3DMARK but i'm just using it to see how it compares to other peoples to see if it's normal or not.

Just curious if these scores sound normal to you.

It's the CPU score. Don't worry, your games won't run terribly slower than people who get 10,000 3DMarks; it's their CPU that adds to the overall score because of 3DMark's CPU test.

Slap on a Q6600 in your system and you got 12,000 easily.
