75% CPU usage when copying files over WPC11

Seems like my pcmcia WPC11 is taking up WAY too much CPU usage when copying files over the network, it shouldn't be 75%, right?! :Q

Though I haven't tested it on my own network (only just set the thing up ) even these nic card's used that much, most even 100% cpu, so I think it's pretty common.

Even if you copy a large file locally from one directory to another on the same C: drive, it will peg the cpu at 100% usage.

It is the reading from the HD itself which causes the high cpu usage.

Its your NIC...take a look at my thread on this a couple weeks ago. its all about the chipset in the PC card....
