I heard this before about Cyrix CPUs..

i can't really vouch for this info, but i'd say the computer wont perform as well as a pIII 733 (if they even made that speed) but it should get the job done, i'd say the performance of a range between (pIII 600 - pIII 650). Cyrix, from what i've heard arent very good performers as they are very cheaply made.

BTW, anyone know how much cache is on cyrix processors?
 
Cyrix was good 10 years ago......

But if $300 is all you have, this is your choice. 🙂 Nice price!
 
the board is at least coppermine compatible. so you could proabbly put a 1 ghz p3 in there. cyrix III is coppermine pinout
