720p Tv as a monitor?

I will be mainly gaming with the pc, Netflix and some movies. its this here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16889253194

Would I notice an difference then say a 22-23 monitor?

Typical 22-23" monitors are higher resolution, so you may notice a decrease in sharpness of the picture. It probably won't be too noticeable in movies/video. Games may depend on the game. Text (web browsing) will likely be the most negatively impacted.

Watch out for input lag. Many HDTVs have it, and some have it bad. Could be a game killer.

One side benefit is that the lower resolution will usually increase gaming framerate, so you can get by with lower end hardware.
