Just a little heads up - nothing worth flaming me for posting about - lol
The 320GB 7200.10 Seagate perpendicular is now avail in IDE variation, ~same price as SATA
I was a bit shocked to see this since I though IDE was to be no more, especially since newer mobo only have one IDE port or none and one on a third party chip.
Very surprising.
(But nothing earthshaking here)

I purchased two or three of them several months ago.
I use them in Apricorn IDE / USB housings for Server backups.
The drives have been working just fine. Not that their speed helps any in a USB housing.

Edit:
Hitach just announced their new 1TB Perpendicular Recording hard drive will be in both SATA and PATA.
