7200.10 320GB Unallocated Space

Goto administrator tools from control panel, then check the computer management, then see if you can locate the missing HD space from disk management!

I can't that is what the picture shows.. all the unallocated space and it's no where close to where it should be.

Eh I used my really old XP cd install this time and it didn't even have SP1 on it and didn't realize it, I feel dumb >_<

Just to add additional info....

1) Don't touch the unallocated space yet
2) Install SP2
3) Go back to disk mgmt and you should see the rest of the drive, then you can right click the unallocated space to create a new partition
4) You can then use partition magic or diskpart to make it one giant partition. However that is optional and not at all necessary

There are also some very good reasons NOT to make it one giant partition.
