I knew who did the study before I clicked on the link. I worked in his lab for a bit while going to grad school.

Ever wonder who used last used that bottle of mustard or catsup before you in the local restaurant? Or, more importantly, where had there hands been before they used it?:whiste:

So? Everything we come across throughout the day is dirty as hell. Door handles/knobs, money, buttons, hand rails, etc.

Using antibacterial hand wash is only going to make things worse in the long run.

They just most those articles to sell more anti-bacterial stuff.

I can't wait till our germ paranoia brings on some fucked up super bacteria that eats peoples brains in 24 hours.

I thought there was fecal matter on everything.
It wouldn't surprise me.

Take a walk outside. Enjoy the feeling of being around nature, and walking on pleasantly grassy soil.

Then think about what dirt is: Rocks, decayed animals, decayed plants, and lots of worm and animal crap.

Then go take a long shower in isopropyl rubbing alcohol. :D

Good news: There's no need to wait.

(Ok, so it might take longer than 24 hours, but it can still do the trick.
And I don't think it's technically a bacterium.)

Anti-bacterial wipes? Fuck that.
I bathe in raw sewage so my immune system is armed with rocket launchers and machine guns.

Studies have shown that fecal matter is pretty much everywhere. I'm surprised only 72% of carts are affected.

My SO looked at me like I was crazy the other night when I used the Clorox wipe provided next to the carts. I am far from a germaphobe....I just thought "Why the hell not, it is cold season."

Now I will do it every time.

The next study will be about the nasties that survive on Clorox wipes...

lol it's not a big deal.
That's what we have the immunitary system for.
Shit gets dangerous (literally) if there is too much bacteria, but some won't hurt.
And who's so stupid to lick his hands while at the mall anyway? You touch handrails and they're as dirty as the bathroom.
