I'm not saying I support this kind of behavior, but the simple fact is that even if you don't like to be a big spender, you have to "look" and "play" the part if you're going to be taken seriously in certain circles. How many Fortune 500 execs do you think drive Honda Accords?
It's a concept some of you may have a hard time understanding as this watch is probably the equivalent of your yearly salary.
And Patek Phillipe is one of the most highly regarded watch companies in the world. This gold automatic watch is as much a status symbol for people in certain circles as a luxery car would be to a lay man.
