If anyone wants to know what kind of jump you get from a Radeon 9000 NP to a 9800 Pro in 3dmark2001se, this is it. This with the current system below. I am pleased.

I have tried (without voltage adjustments) and I just can't get the bus above 175 stable. Would it be ok to leave it at 166 and up the multi some more? I also think my 2700 ram starts to be the problem...maybe.

Yup, that 2700 ram is what's probably holding it back. I'd go with 166 and raise the multi like you said, you should be able to get close to 2g I'd think.

I scored 14000 (13700) with my non pro 9800. So I guess I did all right with the installation. And my 300 watt Allied PSU is holding up perfectly too. voltages are steady and correct all around.

I used to have a GF4 4200 that scored around 12,000. However the major difference is in games. Unreal 2003 went from GF4 4x/4x setting @ avg 20 FPS to a 9800 non pro 4x/16x quality setting @ avg 60FPS ! That is amazing. That is 3 times more powerful at a higher AA/AF setting!

Both cards ran with the game at high detail.

I was planning to overclock it, but as of right now there is no point. Maybe to show shady what the non-pro can add up to.

On performance settings my score was 14,000.

So on that note, If Im experiencing all this improvement coming from a GF4--9800 np, I can only imagine your delight from a 9000 to a 9800 pro!

And I did not have driver issues going from nvidia to ati. See? All BS I tell you.

Yeah, I am truly amazed at this card.

UPDATE: I have my 3dmark2003 score.... It was 5464, I am happy with that as well.
