See my Sig for system details.

I have my Ram settings all maxed out (Case 2 / 2T-5T-2T / 4 Bank interleave / Fast writes on / etc.............)

I was having problems getting my Video Card clocks to stay set on start up using GTU (GeForce Tweak Utility), and the best 3dMark score that I ever got with this system, using GTU was 3090. The last HELECOPTER video was choppy, all of the RINGS looked a bit choppy and the last Checkered Tunnel just sat there.

I decided to install NVMax and triy it out. I set the Core Clock to 210 and the Mem Clock to 325, with everything else at default, and ran 3dMark. To my surprize, the last HELECOPTER video was almost smooth, the RINGS were all perfectly smooth, and the last CHECKERED TUNNEL not only moved, but it was almost perfectly smooth.

The score went to 7014 on the 1st run, and 7011 on the 2nd run.

I have the screen shot to prove it but did not get the chance to put it up yet (actually, my son was in bed, at the time, and he is the only one who knows how to link the image). I will put it up as soon as I get the opertunity.

This seems like an extremely high score, so did something go wrong, or were my original scores very low?
Is this a reasonable score for this system?

This must be 3dmark 2000? Try downloading 3dmark 2001, I'm sure you'll see a big difference 😉 You can't compare that score to 3dmark 2001. I score 7599 on an athlon XP 1700, 512mb DDR, win XP pro and a geforce 3 ti-200@240/521, with 3dmark 2001.

Thanks TopGun,

I thought that I had 3dMark 2001, but I am not at my home PC at the moment, so I can not absolutely verify it.
I will get 2001 just to be sure, and if I am running 2000 at home, I will post back and give the new 2001 score.

Yes, I am currently using 3dMark 2000.
I am downloading 2001 right now.
I will take it home, install it, run it, and post back with those results.

Thanks again.

Whew!! I was thinking there must be a problem with my system. Thats almost as good as I get.

You will get around 3500 marks now 🙁

Nice call. I got a score of 3576 with 3dMark 2001 at clocks of 200/325.
Since you called it so close, this must me a good average score for this system.

Is this correct?

Wow, I was just about ready to s%*$, when I saw a score of 7500 on your rig. Thanks for the clarification!

Check here for my smokin' GTS. Here is the average for a GTS. Keep in mind the average is for GF2 GTS/Pro/Ti. If you are keeping up with a GF2 Ti, you are doing well. I usually can eek out 10% above the average for any card I've owned.
