I just bought OCZ StealthXStream 700W, running amd 785G oncoard graphics and Phenon II X2 555 BE. No overcloking, no gaming. Room is not heated. The PSU fan (120mm) is noisy at idle. It doesn't sound like a faulty fan. I also have Ultimate 600W PSU running Q9300 & 7600GS video card. It's fan is quiet.
Here is my question. As wattage rating goes up, does fan get noisier even at idle? Or is it just OCZ?
