I have the 700ift and love it, but after reading some, i would of gotten the nf. Just newer technology. But i have seen both and they are both well worth the cost. In my mind you could not go wrong with either, but if you want a place to buy it from, then onvia.com would be your best bet.

I would go for the 700NF if the faint grey horizontal lines that appear on ALL aperture grille monitors. Trinitron monitors like the 700NF have better and brighter colors than shadow mask monitors though the text is not quite as clear. The 700NF also has higher max resolution and refresh rate.

Not saying the 700IFT is bad, as it is a very good shadow mask, but I just would prefer the 700NF.

And I agree, Onvia.com is a awesome place to get monitors because of good prices and free shipping.

I love my 700NF too. Wish I could have afforded the 900NF, actually, if I waited a month on getting my CPU.. I could have.. :(
The 700NF has better refresh rates and resolutions than the IFT. If they are about the same price, I'd definately get the 700NF due to it having better specs.

Well Onvia got rid of the coupons they had. There is the $30 Samsung mail-in rebate however. They usually have one every month. There used to be a 10% reimbursement from Pointclick and then it changed to 5% but I don't even know if that is still there.
