700m lcd bezel heating up

Is it normal for the part of the bezel beneath the lcd to get warm after a while? It also heats up the lower portion of the lcd, is that going to damage it?

Thats good to know. Also there seems to be a tiny gap between the bezel and the screen itself. Is that normal too?
I can fit my fingernail between my lcd and bezel. I'd imagine that's normal.

I've taken apart my 700m (for fun, I like to see how these things are put together).

The inverter is at the bottom of the screen assybley along with the LED indicators for power, HDD etc. Yea the screen not being perfectly lined up is pretty normal for Dells, in fact I've seen it on most laptops to have a small bit of gap (enough for a fingernail) even on IBM laptops.

That's for easier replacement of the bezel. some of the bezels need to have a screwdriver put under bezel by the f4 key to pry it up when removing.
