700m Keyboard Driver Problem

Can any 700m users (or not) give me some advice? I put an XP Pro install on my notebook and was using a usb keyboard. When I tried using the notebook by itself windows still treats they keyboard as a "natural 102-key"....which means that I can't type on the thing unless I literally hold down the function key the entire time. I searched high and low for an appropriate keyboard driver but can't seem to find one. Nothing at the Dell site, can't seem to find a third party. Any help?

I reinstalled Pro on mine when I got it, and windows identified it as "Standard 101/102 key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard"

What about uninstalling the keyboard in device mananger, rebooting and letting Windows re-install it?
