Hey everyone, wanted to let you all in on this new toy I received today. The Encino Voyager....... MP3/CD Portable!!!! This thing is genius. I have 10 full cds, each filled with over 170 songs. And I can take it all with me!, the thing even has 60 seconds of Anti-Shock! it supports CD-RWs and my 700MB cds. To think that people actually put down so much money to get a little player with 32/64MB>?> it's ridiculous! I feel the need to express myself here, because it feels like this is just some undiscovered toy. If you want more info from where I picked mine up, go to BobsGadgets.com, They don't say anything about 700mb cds, but i've tested it and it's perfect with them.

Kinda REALLY old news. There's lots of them out. Undiscovered? Hardly. Cool? FOR SURE. I would like on myself, but I'll wait until the next generation when they actually have some features.

Nonetheless, congrats on your new toy. Enjoy it.

EDIT: On second thought, after reading the first post once again, and seeing that this is a Junior member without a viewable profile, I see that this is MOST CERTAINLY a spam topic. I say lock it down.

spam?? no.
old news?? no way? from where? I would have picked it up before the summer if it was possible, instead of lugging around a fscking bookcase full of cds. I almost bought the genica this week, but the reviews said it was shiit and that we should wait for something better. Everyone at the mp3.com forum seemed to recommend this one. I don't know how the two compare, but this is definitely good.

hehe spam. I can see now how it sounds i guess.

i hear those clic disks have a bad rap... I don't trust them from all the stuff I've read. But 10$ per disk is nice. Although i do prefer 1$/700Mb disk.
