7 Shot

Admit it. You wish your hometown had gun control laws just like the President's hometown.

Admit it. You know you want too....

And I can pretty much guarantee no one at the location will cooperate and talk to police to help them find those responsible.

Three people — a 19-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old man — were driven to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with gunshot wounds, Alfaro said. The 19-year-old woman was shot seven times, according to dispatch reports. All three were listed in stable condition.
Additionally, two men, ages 20 and 21, were in stable condition after one man was taken by ambulance and another was driven to Holy Cross Hospital, police said.
Another two men, ages 26 and 36, were also in stable condition after being driven to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Center, Alfaro said.
But police on the scene said the exact number of injured was hard to determine because a handful of the wounded were driven to area hospitals by people they knew.

When all that will happen is the gangbangers come and kill you for talking, can't really blame them.

I'm sure some more gun laws will take care of that issue ;)

They should follow the DC example and require them to be disassembled until ready to use. That way the criminals will keep the field-stripped components in their pockets until they shoot someone. :)

Well, if only they had followed the lead of freedom states like california and DC and restricted the law abiding citizens gun ownership rights. see now this guy apparently got off at LEAST 13 shots. . . 7 shot, one girl was shot 7 times . so they should follow NY's lead and say that they can have a 15rd clip but only put 7 shots in it. Im' sure we would have stopped this from happening.

Lil Mouse is like 12.

Such a shame. I watched a little documentary thing on him on youtube. The kid is intelligent, but he is clearly rapping because his mother can't put food on the table since his gangbanger dad is in prison for life. He used to play peewee baseball and all that stuff.

Now hes thuggin'....for his family.

Too bad we can't go back in time to before gun control in Chicago, when it was all peace and light there. When was that exactly?

But... but... but... but... but... but... but... guns are basically outlawed in Chicago, and no one can carry a gun, legally.

Or could that mean that criminals don't really give a damn about such laws. Put up a "no guns" sign, and the problem is solved, right?

if people in the crowd had guns and began firing back how many less people would have been killed??

Initially more, but in the long run less, because those who started the shooting are now dead.

And what makes you think only one side is capable of starting gun violence? Having a gun doesn't address poverty, but it gives you a tool with which to lash out. So why do you think this tool wouldn't be used for that when it is so much better suited to be used in that offensive capacity than any sort of defense?

Despite what conservatards think, carrying a gun does not provide a magical shield against bullets. Ask Keith Ratliff, Chris Kyle, and Chad Littlefield just how much better they are for offense than defense.

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Maybe 1, maybe 6.

Basically people and the cultures they adopt create violence in society rather than inanimate objects.

Which means there is no justification to prohibit and restrict the rights of people to defend themselves and who are not part of a group who accepts and/or promotes wanton criminal violence as being culturally acceptable. Nothing the state does short of enforcing a police state (where only government has a monopoly on violence and self-defense) would prevent this type of violence.

If only they had 7 round magazines none of this would have happened.
