7-day alarm clock?

hiya all!

i need an alarm clock that i can set each day to a different time to wake up by.

i.e.:
mon: 6:30am
tue: 7:00am
wed: 9:00am
thu: 6:30am
fri: 7:00am
sat: 9:00am
sun: leave me alone!

i've currently got a model that u can set weekends and weekdays to different times, but not EACH day.

i've got a nice cell phone (sanyo 5300) that could do it. i'm also getting an ipaq that could do it. and of course, there are about a million computer programs that can do it.

but, i'd like just an alarm clock that tunes to my local favorite radio station to wake me up!

anyone heard of such a beast? name brand, model, links, they'd all be appreciated!

ooo, that's cool - I'd like one if there's one out there 😀 My alarm clock has an "A" and "B" setting, and that's worked out ok for me (I wake up at two separate times during the week), but the 7 day thing would be cool 😀

That would be a good clock. To make it perfect I would add a user-settable snooze amount and a keypad. I hate the frickin single "minute" button that you have to press forever.

make a wave file with the following voice

"Wake your @ss up, BubbleDVD"

then go to scheduler, and setupt 7 weekly tasks to play that wav file.
go to winamp - and make sure continual play is enabled.

when going to bed, turn up speakers all the way...

you'll have a lot of fun waking up everyday 😛

I use a program called Banshee Screamer Alarm from download.com and it does have the 7 day setting. I just can't wake up to BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP anymore. Put in some good songs and it does the job.

ya ya! but i'd really like to avoid using a computer.... 🙁

i've got a hit on another board for an rca that some dude's father uses. he's gonna ask and get back to me. all i know now is that it's an RCA..

but if anyone else knows of an actual alarm clock that does this (not computer program, not cell phone, not pda, etc.), please let us know!

😀

I got a little timer from Walmart(about $13) that I use for lights on my fish tank... it can be set to turn on/off for different days... you could always plug it into a stereo and let the music wake you up. 😎

heh, interesting idea.. you then still turn on one alarm each night and off one alarm each night though.. 😛

why would you want to do that? It would be much easier just to set it every night

Stojakapimp: thx for the tip! but again, trying not to use a computer.. you were refering to the computer program 'the college alarm clock' right?

looks like i might be out of luck here.. cell phone or pda it is!

thx guyz...

I use my PDA (pocketPC) as an alarm clock...you can set whatever you want. And I agree that going with a computer program isn't a viable option, as my computer isn't ALWAYS on overnight, I do turn it off occasionally, and my speakers are Paradigm Monitor 9s going through a receiver, so I'd rather not have to leave the whole setup on all night just to wake myself up in the morning. Granted, I'd probably scare the sh*t out of myself every day, but still. 🙂

You could get 6 small clocks each set for a different time, then run some kind of sequencer such that the alarm from one triggers the next one to be set.

Or you could just flip the switch for each respective day and have each alarm clock labeled.

It all depends on how desperate you are to avoid using a computer.

My Dell Axix is not loud enough to be an alarm
