Do you think steam will ever re-organize the store so that you can filter out both games that you already own, and also let you designate games that you've decided you don't want? Especially from searches, but also when you see them on the list of daily deals for a steam sale.

Short answer: no

Long answer: I love Steam to death and they've certainly come a long way since the days you saw the client start to update and knew you wouldn't get to play that evening. They still lack in several departments and are really slow to implement solutions to problems people have been complaining about for years.
 
Started playing Borderlands free weekend play and it's a really fun game so far.

I'm thinking of buying the GOTY edition for $7.49. Is this the same price as it was during steam summer sale?
