Probably the best deal on coffee anywhere.

Just download the app and give them your phone number and enter your phone number when you make a purchase.

Any time some company has an app I just assume they're using it to harvest data off my phone. I avoid it like the plague. Tim Horton's is trying to push that for Roll Up The Rim contest. They say it's for the environment as it encourages you to bring a reusable mug, but when you bring your own mug they STILL use a cup to measure, then throw it out, so it comes up to the same.

Is 't that the same price as McDonalds...but you don't need the app?

edit...looks like the "any size just $1" is just for soft drinks.

Cumby's here in the Northeast, has had "Any size coffee for $1" for quite some time now.

Edit: No "App" / data harvesting involved.

What's a cup of coffee now; $2? My privacy's worth more than $1, and I can make a whole pot for <50¢ I think.

Depends...most restaurants here charge $1.95 to $3.95 for a cup of fucking hot water run over ground beans. Way more if you want some fancy-schmancy espresso based drink.

Eh? They don't do that here.

As someone who does not like 7/11, hates, coffee, and despises Apps, this strikes me as something not quite so great.

Not even if they pay me the dollar and then I throw the coffee in the garbage.

I honestly couldn't say the last time I actually set foot inside a 7-11...it has to be at least 15 years.

7-11 is my least favorite tier 1 convenience store. I'll stop in on occasion. but it's not more than a handful of times per year. 7-11s always feel like urban decay, even the ones in the country.

McDonald's has $1 coffee right now too, PLUS the stickers you collect when you buy one. We actually did two coffee runs today at the office and it ended up cheaper than when we do a single Timmy's run.

Honestly if McDonald's wanted to crush Tim Hortons they need to open up a bunch of McCafe type stores throughout town that serve just coffee and a few snacks, and have a drive thru. The only reason Tim Horton's does so well is because you can't throw a rock without hitting one.

I have that app! I mainly use the 7/11 app when I am hungry and don`t want to pay an arm and a leg for food!
I believe the local 7/11 had their nachos on sale if you used the app for $1.99 when regularly they are $3.99 also the app is good for great deals on pizza slices and of course drinks!

McDonalds has this deal most of the time and you don't need an app, and you don't need to go to a 7/11.
