Strange stuff but as i checked only creative have 7.1 speakers and noone else build them yet?

Anyway which speakers you think is best for 7.1 Audigy 2 ZS?
I think to buy 7.1, but will buy 6.1 as well if they will song better.

in no particular order.



Seems this are only 7.1 and 6.1 speakers out there for reasonable price, however there is one more 7.1 for 500$, 7.1 with decoder for 300$ and 6.1 for 300$ from creative which i am not going to buy.

So is there really no more 7.1 or 6.1 speakers to date?

Someone know difference between Creative Inspire T7700 and Creative Inspire T7900 i noticed only middle speaker shape is different other specs seems to be same.
So why they build 7900 then?
 
I decided to buy Creative Inspire T7700 or Creative Inspire T7900 price is about same.

You don't need speakers that support the different formats, you need a sound card that can. As far as I know, speakers don't necessarily support features like DTS, EAX, and whatnot, its all dependent on your sound card, as it does the decoding and then sends the signal to your speakers. All your speakers need is the signal from the sound card.

If you have a 5.1 or better setup then your sound card will be able to send it the signals for 5.1/surround sound.

Personally I think you'd be better off forgoing the 6.1/7.1 (as it doesn't really add much except more sound, because there is very few things that are encoded in 6.1 or 7.1). You'd be better off going with the Logitech Z-5300 (they just updated them, but you can probably find the older model still for sale). The newer version is about $150, while the older one you could probably get for close to $100. These speakers would be much better than any of those 6.1/7.1 systems you linked to.

This Logitech Z-5300 cost ~232$ here (Europe) i am not soundnut to spend so much on speakers whatever good they sound.
I need more than 5.1 because i mostly need them for games and its usefull to have rear speaker (6.1), only reason i go for 7.1 just because there is no decent 6.1 out there.
Anyway Creative Inspire T7900 should be great for room, i am not buying them to make party.

My opinion if you want listen music really loud you should buy something like Logitech MegaWorks THX 2.1 250D its almost same power as theyr GigaWorks S750 (I dont see no pint of getting that powerfull 7.1), but costs 500-130=370$ less.
 
Well, that would make a difference then.

I actually do have the Gigaworks (and just recently upgraded to 7.1) and I'm very happy with my purchase, but I can see how people would balk at such a powerful/expensive system. I of course didn't pay the $500 they want for the system.

Well, hope whatever speakers you get that they're great for ya.
 
I got myself Creative Inspire T7900 today.
I played CS and they sounds great, also max payne 2 and coule of other games to.
Mp3's playback is awsome with creative player, but EAX effects and karaoke on mp3's files is crap, dunno if its better on CD/DVD-Audio.

Btw its hould be like this that front always sounds louder than side and rear or my setup is wrong? I think its sounded better untill i changed some settings or maybe i wrong.
 
You can adjust the volume of individual speakers through the Creative Surround Mixer (should be a quick launch icon). Also, I would recommend doing the speaker calibration in the TXH console.
