7/02/13 Steam Midweek Madness: Dust An Elysian Tail 50%off, Baldurs Gate EE 75% off

I'm confused by BG-EE; didn't the developer state that atari is no longer allowing them to do updates ?
 
im playing Dust right now.

Very fun game, im already at 8hs and i still have a couple hours to finish it i think.

Very impressive for being developed by 1 person...
 
I remember buying Baldur's Gate EE, but can't find my purchase anywhere.

Reviewers said this is not the recommended version to play, but it still has good points.

I'm getting Dust: An Elysian Adventure. Not crazy about the 'action rpg' stuff, but other things look great.
 
I'm torn on BG:EE. I just bought it for ipad a gew weeks ago, but that version doesn't come with the extra characters and they cost more than this entire game at the moment.

One huge question: doe BG:EE support multi-monitor play?

There is some legal trouble. I have no clue why it is still on Steam but seems to be pulled from nearly every other site for sale. Makes it even weirder since it is on sale.

Perhaps it's the before-we-pull-it sale.
 
I dug a bit, the whole thing is strange.

I went ahead and got in case they pull it and it doesn't go up again for a while. I wonder what the issues are?

I played Dust on the 360, and my only complaint is that the game is too easy. By the end, all I had to do was use Fidget's lightning magic and do the swirly thing in the air, which causes the lightning to hit EVERYTHING. Also, I pretty much have the best gear in the game, which gives Fidget's magic a... 6x boost or something ridiculous like that. 😛

I have BG:EE on Steam, and only ran into one bug, where a quest NPC wouldn't trigger to give me an item. Solved by pickpocketing it.

I wouldn't pass up on BG:EE if you are worried about bugs and future patches; 57 hours in for me.
 
Ok, BG:EE doesn't play perfectly with eyefinity (everything is centered on the left monitor and bleeds into the center one) but you can turn off full screen and drag the window as big as you like.

what level are you on that pic? im playing it... on hard... im at the
part in which you are doing the assault with your race to fight the general
and im not even CLOSE to those numbers. I think im about to reach 800 damage (i still have like 5 crystals slots)

im far from the end? i thought i was finishing it
 
I convinced my 14 year old son to put down ARMA and Skyrim and play a real game - buy BG Enhanced Edition.

Wow does that look good. Way better than the gog version I bought last summer and modded to hell to make it run on modern equipment.

Wish I would have waited for this.

You could get hi res mods for the gog version.
