6p or 8p connector for PCIE 2.0 graphic cards...?

I read here that the PCIE 2.0 graphic cards uses a 6+2p connector...does that means you cant use a PCIE 2.0 graphic card if your PSU only comes with a 6p connector for PCIE ?

No. The verbiage on that site is a bit misleading.

PCIe 2.0 doesn't mean the card has an 8-pin PCIe.

8-pin PCIe doesn't mean it's PCIe 2.0

It's a different specification for PCIe cards that dictates 6-pin PCIe connector vs. 8-pin.

Cards with 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe connectors are called "300W cards", independent of the slot type (1.0 vs. 1.1 vs. 2.0, etc.)

Yeah check with the graphic card specs, it will specify which connector is required.
