Please tell me you'll replant. Nothing bums me out more than a huge span of grass where there could be some nice trees.

These are just the trees that are either on the lawn or hang over the lawn. About 1/3 of my lot will remain wooded and the lot behind me is also all woods.

Good price depending on the sizes.

Now time to put in the sprinkler and sod. Damn yours are almost as bad as boats when it comes to sinking $$ into them.

Good price? How do you figure that?

The guys were paid to cut the trees down and haul the wood off. Around thanksgiving and christmas the wood will probably go for sale on the side of the road for $1 a piece.

There are two sides to this story, someone lost money, and someone made money.

One of the most important rules in life - never lose money.

I understand your argument but a lot don't have the saws, skills, desire, bucket truck, skid loader, stump grinder, chipper (last 3 for large trees), log splitter, etc. My bro in law cuts trees as a side job so I get free wood.:sneaky:

$285/tree, depending on the size is a good deal. Especially if they did a half ass job cleaning up.

Around here you could have had the trees cut down for the wood. No charge.

4 bids all came in from 5500-6500 and the 5500 wasn't going to remove the wood. The biggest tree alone would have been 3500.

All those little fuckers did was pick up maybe 10% and just bury them elsewhere in the yard.

Did that also include getting the stumps grinded-up?

I would kill to have an acorn or other nut tree in my yard. Would be epic.

they r great when they rain down on your vehicles or smack u in the head
or when they bombard the lawn by the 1000s and evry rodent known to man comes
:(

Squirrels are a nuisance. More so when they chew the power lines to sharpen their teeth.

Last year, the rats we acquired were eating the acorns and piling the remnants under the house.
