So my econ midterm is just a little more than 3 hours away, and I just went through the practice midterm our prof provided us after having gone over all my notes.

The practice midterm was about 6 pages long, and I started on the first page, didn't know how to do that problem, so I started skipping forward to different problems to try find one that I could do..until I found myself on the very last problem, and I found that I couldn't do that one either.

Okay, I exagerrated a bit.

No wait I didn't, that's actually exactly what happened.

What happened was I found a practice midterm for a completely different class.

However either way, let's just hope then that the scores of the test are curved heavily, to the extent that it will follow a standard normal distribution where the mean is 0 with a standard deviation of 1. That is, if I get 2 points/100, I'll be in the top 95% of the class.

Or better yet, let there be just one question on there asking for the definition of a standard normal distribution.

I wonder actually if there was such a question on this midterm, if I could just rip that question out, trash all the other pages, turn it in at the very last minute and say that was the only question I got. Then if our prof says something, it'll be too late for me to redo everything. I'll even answer the question in the finest way possible, as to justify my spending an hour and fifteen minutes on one problem.

If God/Buddha/Allah/Tom Brady or any almight power is reading this then, because as we all know the forces that be take prayers through late night Xanga entries, provide me with the power to ace this midterm..preferably in the form of an answer key and/or pre-answered test.

If any of you guys happen to come through I'll be sure to return the favor by attending church/temple/mosque (?)/Patriots games every Sunday in the future.

Thank you.

I dont think you can have a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1 unless you guys get negative scores on tests...

He failed. It's obvious.

He didn't even study for the damned thing.

I don't know what this spider business is all about, but maybe it's something you should address....?
