Excellent suggestions. I doubt the AMD moderator wants to see this go on without some solution.

Thanks I think I or rather EA have fixed it no crashes yet and looks amazing. It was a problem with a couple of dll files they rewrote. I should really go back to my old 4890 though, silly me! Seems EA was at fault not dear old AMD so apologies to ATI driver man. Now if only they would fix Skyrim.

I will do EA's fix doesn't work. Annoying saga continues but I have fallen in love with SSAA in BF3 multiplayer, it looks incredible with everything maxed and 32 adolescent psychos trying to kill me. I built the rig for Arma 2 and haven't really done any BF3 MP but I must say the way it looks and sounds is out of this world. Until it crashes. PS GPU temps never got above 66c last time.

I grew so frustrated with Crossfire that I sent back my 2nd 7850.

Definitly not ready for the 7800 series.

And honestly I ran a 5970+5870 at one point and was fine, so all the Crossfire issues I'm seeing lately is surprising.

What version drivers you running. Your mobo has 4 PCIe slots ? Quad fire is crazy....

Too bad the drivers are not mature for it...

12.4 but the game weirdly keeps reporting they're 11.4 and advising me to update them to at least 11.7. All a bit disturbing.
They're dual GPU cards -mobo has 3 PCIe slots, I use two. It's annoying as I don't think the drivers will ever get mature.

I had 5970/5870 tri-fire also and never had the same problems just slightly different ones like xfire profiles arriving 4 months after games were released.

So you are still having the same issue or it is working now? I can't really understand your post. Maybe I've been up to late.

So far I've had Dirt 3 crash on me once, but that game is not the most stable in the world.

Also how do you enable SSAA in BF3?

Some games are sensitive to overclocking, even when in other games its stable as a rock. And not just the GPU OC, but the CPU as well. And crashing is often a symptom of that.

It's crashing again but taking a lot longer to get there i.e.I still have the same issue, I enabled SSAA in CCC.
