6950 to 6970 flash xfx cards in tri crossfire with pics

Well I got the cards put them in PC one card at a time and flashed them with an xfx 6970 firmware. I then installed them all together in tri crossfire. I must say I was rather impressed. I think it was mostly due to the extra 1gb of ram on the cards. That really helped at my resolution 4800x2560.

Metro2033, BC2, Crysis, you know the usual suspects.

It would be great if you had f1 2010 to bench. Its sucks that theres no demo for it though.

BTW, did you use 6970 bios or modified 6950 bios?

Really curious on your middle card's temp ? Mine gets up to 90C @ 85% fan speed in Crysis

top card can hit 100c if I don't crank up fans.

I usually run fans at 60-70% cards may hit 92-94c
