6950 2GB CFX CCC performance

While I was playing BF3 I alt-tabbed to see what temperature my cards were getting..

I have never used cards in CFX, so I was wondering if this is normal:

One of your cards isn't working. It's at 3% load and an idle temperature. You'll have to reconfigure it to turn on crossfire.

How do I reconfigure it?

EDIT:
I read somewhere that CrossFire doesn't work while playing windowed. My BF3 goes into a window when I alt tab.. Maybe that is the problem?

Run a program like MSI Afterburner to track the temp and usage during a game.
