6900's are over 11", Will that work in a antec300?

I am not sure where the measurement starts from, but just using a tape measure in my case and and 11" comes very very close to the part of the internal frame for mounting hard drives. Does anyone have experience with mounting a card this size in a Antec 300 case?

People got 5870's in 300's as LONG as there is no HD's in front of the card.
There are pictures on line showing them installed, discussing.
There should be room still for 2 hd's anyways.

5870's were 11inches

yeah as long as there is no hd in the way there is plenty of room because the card can extend into that part of the case

One of the reviews I just read, stated that the 6900 Series is 10.5 inches long. But the fan shroud is a "hair" longer than the PCB. And the article stated, at least make sure you have 10.3/4 inches to fit the card in nicely.

Here it is. http://www.hardocp.com/article/2010/12/14/amd_radeon_hd_6970_6950_video_card_review/

The Radeon HD 6970 and Radeon HD 6950 are completely identical in size, shape, form, and all aspects visually. They are both 10.5 inches long.

And another.... http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=605&Itemid=72&limit=1&limitstart=1

Identical to AMD's reference design, the PowerColor Radeon HD 6970 measures 10.5" inches long, by 1.25" tall and 3.75" wide. This video card measures slightly shorter than the 11" long Radeon HD 5870, but longer than the 9.75" Radeon HD 6970. Ironically, it measures exactly the same dimensions as its closest competitor: NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 570.
