A guy here in South Carolina started this about 3 years ago. Since then the legislature has changed the laws and it is now illegal here.

personally I agree with it, I would not want to be a passenger on a plane , whose pilot could only pass a drug screening by purchasing someone's elses urine.

Ever heard of that Saskatchewan doctor(Schneeberger) who was eventually convicted of raping his patients??
He had a tube of someone else's blood sewn into his arm, and he got away with it for the longest time. He convinced the people to take blood from that arm every time.

I think drug tests are a violation of our civil rights. Tests like these should only be administered to people that are having trouble at their job - seriously - smoking pot after work won't make you high for work the next day.

We have a right to be secure in our persons.

Screw drug tests.. they're absolutely stupid.

It's unlikely they will go to blood tests anytime soon, they are more expensive, and less people are willing to be stuck by a needle than there are people willing to take a urine test. Drug testing for 'normal jobs' is stupid. While it is beneficial to trades where people could be injured if someone is under the influence of drugs, most of the time it's just people getting fired from good jobs because they smoked some pot. It's not fair. It's not fair that BOB can go home and drink a fifth of jack daniels and come to work half drunk and pass his urine test, while BILL can smoke a joint, take a urine test a month later, and lose his job. Please consider this carefully, someday you will all be voting on the decriminalization of marijuana. Please do your homework, find out facts, don't just listen to the media or some anti-drug nazi or some pothead. Figure it out for yourself. Vote the way you really feel.
