Hi.

Just suddenly my GPU has been acting up, no physical damages or anything on it. But there is a weird buzzing noise from the fan that is irregular - it has nothing to do with the programs that I am running. If I push a little on the fan it goes away, but then it starts up again. The sound is also "changing" after a while, from being more quiet to louder, and then going away again.

What could this be? Sound

A fan's bearing is shot. It's getting more damaged as it runs. It will run slower than normal, especially at lower speed settings, and either has been occasionally seizing on you, causing the GPU to act up, or will seize on you in the near future. Depending on your budget, and video card, and DIY imperative, either upgrade video cards, replace the fan(s), or replace the HSF.

Let me guess... XFX? Sapphire? The 6870 is well known for this failing fan. The fan will not work as fast, slow down, or even randomly stop. My XFX just died over the weekend, resulting in 60-80 idle temps and system shutdown after 20 minutes of gaming or even Netflix. I used it as an excuse to get a GTX 970, but I also ordered a replacement fan for $10 as I didn't want to spend $50 on a new cooler:
