So I bought 2 6870s that should be here mid next week and was wondering what drivers you guys recommend for crossfire with BC2? On my 4890s I had to run 10.5a to get crossfire to work so im not sure if this problem carried over into the 6 series or not .

Thanks

yup 11.2's. I'm running them w a 6950, and 5870CF with no issues, better than 11.1a.

only other ones were I think 10.10 were OK and 10.12 maybe

but 11.2 with the CAP should work GREAT for you

11.2 and new CAP it is. I was curious about this issue too. I expereience it every now and then with the 4890 CF I have now, but that may just be due to old drivers or something.

It doesnt really have much to do with drivers. Its just the difference in time it takes to render each frame for each card with AFR.

If card1 takes 3ms to render frame 1, card2 takes 1ms to render frame 2, then card1 takes 2ms to render frame 3 then you have microstutter. The more the differnce in time taken to reneder the worse it gets. Its an inherent problem with AFR, as one frame might be more demanding to render than the other.
