You can get brand new 5970s for 460 so I don't see you getting much more then you paid for it

A factory overclocked 5970, with custom cooler solution.

That ll probably sell ~500$, its a faster card than a 580 is.

I would prob sell the 5970. If you don't game a lot and not at high resolution then get your money back before the 6900 series launches.

You yourself said GTX470 SLI was overkill. Sell the card now and use that $400 to upgrade when your HD6850 isn't fast enough.
