6800U price drops?

now that that 7800gt is out, it seems like the 6800U prices have to drop. the 7800 crushes it in performance, but they have the same price. and then, all the other 6 series cards will have to drop too. when will this happen?

Why would you want a 6800 Ultra anyway? They cost as much as the 7800GT but they get totally crushed, as you said.

If you're considering a 6800GT or 6800NU, wait a bit for the 7800NU and 7600 series to debut. You might want to get one of those.
 
yeah, but what im saying is, the prices of the 6800U should come down, right? so if i could get one for around $300 why wouldnt i want one?
 
Would you want to plunk down $300 for a card which has no WMV acceleration and broken purevideo which will never be fixed?
 
You'll probably have to upgrade it like me. nVidia probably isn't going to make another AGP card outside of their current selection.
