6800NU can run at 425/900?

I just got my new Dell machine and it has a 256MB 6800 vanilla card. THe card has only 12/5 pipelines and i was unable to unlock the remaining ones. However when I tried to overclock it and i let the driver automatically choose the optimal settings, it chose the setting as 425/900. Can my 6800 handle this kind of clock without additional cooling? I am right now running it at 375/750.

Will flashing the bios to a GT version unlock the remaining pipelines?

Thanks!

pci-e 6800nu? if so, nope you can't unlock the pipes, not sure about the overclock though, i've heard of people running it(pci-e version) at 450 by 800.

my agp 6800nu can reach 400/900. but just check the ram chips to see rated speed. this will determine ur max oc

It is possible that it can run 425/900. That would be an extremely good overclock. I'd suggest better cooling if you plan on keeping that puppy at that speeds for any length of time.

I got mine to run 450 850. It ran stable for about 2 weeks than some coruption

I bumped it down to 445 845 and has ran stable for a month now.

If you ran the utility to find your optimal settings you probably will be ok maybe drop it down a bit and see how it goes, 900 on the memory is very good
