If they are both 6800GT's, then they are both the same. I didnt click on the BB link, but if it says it's a 6800GT then that's what it is. There would be no difference between the two, unless u end up getting lucky and get a reference cooler!

Should be the same. But for almost $100 less I would get the Leadtek which seems to be a very good card as well. You lose a pci slot, but the money difference is pretty substantial. The Leadtek seems to be as good if not better. Just a thought

Losing a PCI slot usually means better cooling, and with the 6800's better cooling is a GOOD thing.

it's only 20 less than the BFG at best buy, not 100. and the BFG comes out of the box overclocked, has a lifetime warranty, and has 24/7 tech support. eVGA and BFG seem to be the most recommended cards on these boards.

Dunno about those prices, newegg has the 6800GT with doom 3 for $419, though like the other one it is not in stock. Those prices seem like they should be for the PCIe version...

I picked up my BFG 6800GT agp for $350 from outpost.com a few monthes ago, I can't imagine they have gone up that much in price.

Chumbo

Chumbo has it for $399, they are in and out of stock all the time but usually get it pretty fast as they are BFG's official seller.

i've heard only good things about the BFG cooling

Nothing... but a bigger one would work better.

The BFG reference cooler cooled great, that noisey dual 40mm fan POS they put on the new cards cools adequatly (worse than the reference) but is ALOT noiser. I finally got fed up and replace it with a NV silener... sooooo much better.

The only cool thing the dual fan cooler gives you is blue LED's but personally I can live without those. The truth is, that dual fan thing is the worst stock cooler on any 6800GT out, ALL of the other coolers are better.

Personally I could have lived with the cooler if it had not been for the noise. My case is getting pretty quiet these days with my 7v 120mm fans so that whiner was driving me nuts, especially on startup when it cranked to full power. If you have a noisey machine all-ready then you should be fine, otherwise you should look at replaceing it (though this does void the warranty).
