6800GT Price Drop?

Is the 6800GT's price going to drop anytime soon, I know it has already (reached a street price of about $300) but will it ever drop below the $300 mark and run with the mid-range prices?

I wouldn't say any time soon (maybe in a few months), we don't have a midrange 7 series card, and for the time being 6800 and 6600GT are mid-range.
