Im having problems with my main system and i have to replace the motherboard... my main system is amd 64 3400+ based... in this box i had a 6800gt... well while im waiting to get the money to buy a new motherboard (dont get paid till the 15th) i popped my gt into my backup system which is based on an older p4 2.26 with 533 fsb... in this system i also have a gig of ddr400 geil value ram...

last night when i installed WoW on this system and started playing i had to turn my settings way down because my framerate was god awful... so im wondering is this because the cpu is bottlenecking the video card? or could there be a problem with my gt?

thanks for the help in advance.

What kind of power supply do you have in your backup system? What video card did it have before? Did you clean out the old drivers prior to installing the 6800gt, and use the same drivers for it you were using with your A64 rig?
