Ok I have this problem with Need for speed underground 2, whenever I play the game it will randomly crash to desktop usually upon starting the game or only a few minutes in ony my "Fresh" windows XP installation.

Now for the record I have TWO installations of Windows XP, one is a brand new fresh copy with only the basic latest nvidia forceware video and sound drivers and a fresh copy of NFS UG2 patched to version 1.2. Now the problem is under my clean install with version 1.2 it crashes to desktop from time to time and then there is another seperate problem where the game will freeze whenever I turn up road reflections, while I have tinting and overbrights turned on.

I'm wondering if this is a power supply issue or not, I'm running an ASUS 6800GT V9999 series, and under my "real" windows Xp installation with lots of junk and programs I can run version 1.0 and 1.1 of NFS underground just fine but, but when I upgrade to 1.2 the game will freeze when I turn on overbrights tinting and up the road reflections past the first "notch" to the right in the display settings. I have no idea whats causing it, and why it should start crapping out when 1.0 and 1.1 have worked just fine and was wondering if anyone can duplicate this issue with version 1.2 of NFS UG2 and a 6800GT with 77.72 forceware.
