6800GT OCing

I cant seem to get past 1.07 with the ram. The core will go past 410. Im just asking for 400/1100. Could this be because of my crappy psu that Im runnin right now? Or the ram just wont take it and I should be happy with 400/1.050? Temps havent touched 60 even when OCing and play BF2 for 4 hours.

420 watt psu is not crappy, and that is not why. its because your gpu won't take the heat.

Its a raidmax that came with a psu&case combo for 28 bucks. Only has 12A on the 12v rail. Also the temps are mid 40c to mid 50c under load so I dont think its heat.

Hopefully the 25a per rail will power it better when my rma replacement comes in a week or 2.

The psu your using now is probably giving you problems.

::sigh:: Nothing ever going right. My PSU, a monitor, and some decent ram and I should finally be content. I can get 70+K in Aquamark with it but it acts up in games and wont overclock well at all, It wont pass the test at one speed then it will pass at a higher speed, and then run very slow. Hopefully its just under powered with this cheap psu. But Ill have to wait till I get my other one back.
