Im trying to find one for around 500 canadian everything i see is 550 and up, i woudnt care if i was buying it but im getting it as a gift and i need cheepest price. I dont get why canada is soo overpriced. I see it for 350 US sometimes
 
I just purchased a Gigabyte 6800 GT from zipzoomfly.com last week. I read someplace in the forum that they do ship to cananda. It's sweet. Their site does not reflect this, but they shipped me the newest model along with a copy of Doom3! Since I was going to buy that anyway it saved me $50 US. This is the card that was shipped to me.

It has a redesigned heatsink and the fan is placed on top of the card instead of the bottom.

Zipzoomfly.com has a this card listed for $439.00 American right now. I just performed the conversion on this site

you will not find a 6800gt for less than $600 here in Canada. I paid $600 at bigfootcomputers.com Try any local comp store, I'm in Toronto, so am fortunate to have a lot of choices. But $600 is the best price you'll find for a gt up here. Btw even with the great value on our dollar right now (82 cents U.S.) thanks to madman Bush and his economic f***up of the u.s. economy and general state of the world to boot, it will still cost more to get one shipped from U.S. Due to duty at the border, shipping, and the cost of purchasing u.s. cash when your credit card company converts.

you can get one between 540-560$ CAD, depending on the brand and game included. I've search a lot and they mostly have the lowest prices. They also have a very good customer service.
 
looked on ncix and they don't even have a gt in stock. Wonder why so few still available? Prices will never drop at this rate.
