6800GT + DualView > wrong icon colour depth

Hi

I got a 6800Gt a while ago (Aopen one). It's all working fine, and the other day I decided to give this DualView nonsense a go. It works properly, and is overall a pretty impressive feature. The only problem is that with DualView enabled, all my icons take the 8-bit colour depth versions, which look horrible. My primary display is set to 32-bit (1280*1024 CRT), and the secondary is also set to 32-bit (800*600 TV connected via composite-out). I tried setting both displays to 16-bit, and this did not help. The setting to show icons using all possible colours is also enabled. The strange thing is that only the icons are affected; the title bars, window contents, games, etc, are definately not 8-bit on either display:

Oh, I'm using W2KSP4 and driver ver 61.77 (had the same problem with older drivers). Any ideas for how to fix this would be most appreciated!
