6800GT dead?

I recently picked up a used 6800gt and popped it into a system... and nothing. no video signal and the fan doesn't spin and the card does not heat up. I have everything plugged in. I even tried it in another machine with a working 7800gt, and again same problem. Is the card dead?

Did you try plugging in the auxiliary power connector?
