So I've got a 6800GT AGP from Leadtek with it's huge arse copper cooler. It's always run a bit in the hot side (60ish idle, mid to high 70s load), and now it seems to finally be catching up to it.
I've been playing The Sims 2 alot, and I'll notice puddles of water, or the newspapers will wig out. They'll change colors, and transparancies. Once during a character creation the entire model messed up.
I haven't had any issues while playing CS:S though. Although the last time I tried to play The Lost Coast, the computer would always crash. I don't know what's up with it for sure. I have the latest nVidia drivers on the machine, and only basic stuff installed(OS, Drivers, Games, nothing else).
I'm going to start running loops of 3dMark05 to see if I can get that to produce artifacts once it finishes it's painfully slow download. I know there was a program I used to have that just used shaders to render really cool looking scenes with floating balls.
