6800gs vs 6600gt

locally, one store has both of these cards advertised.

6800GS at $225 and the 6600GT at $150.

Which is a better card? Any why?

I'm hoping to pull the trigger in the next couple of days....

AGP or PCI-e?

Nevermind, you can get a 6600GT in the FS/FT forums for about $100. The 6800GS performs as well as a 6800GT in PCI-e or AGP form, the AGP version you can unlock to 16 pipelines and overclock to get 6800 Ultra performance.

Wow, it's great to find prices close to online retailers for video cards.

I assume you're talking PCI-E.

6800GS is a much better card, though the 6600GT is still very good.
